Golden Gate’s therapy department offers Seven (7) days a week therapy in our new state of the art facility where our team of professionals employ the latest techniques and equipment to achieve the best results. Each resident has an individual plan of care that enhances their ability to return home ready for an active, productive lifestyle.

Staffed by caring and attentive professionals, Golden Gate provides all-embracing 24-hour care in a supervised, supportive and homelike environment for people with complex care needs. We will develop and maintain a care plan to include social and recreational activities. We pride ourselves on enhancing our residents with the best quality of life by caring for their needs with warmth, dignity and respect. Hospice services are also available. Golden Gate’s rehabilitation professionals will assist our patients with reaching their highest potential of independent functioning within their environment with or without assistive devices. Our Physical Therapy team works to improve the residents’ ability to ambulate, ascend/descend stairs and transferring to and from all surfaces. They also work on improving muscle tone and strength, joint mobility, posture, cardio-vascular and pulmonary function, mobility and pain relief.

Occupational and Speech Therapy
Focuses on patients mastering self-care skills related to their overall dressing, grooming, bathing and functioning within their home with or without adaptive/assistive devices.
Speech therapy services focuses on the patient’s ability to speak, hear and swallow food efficiently.
Orthotic/Prosthetic Clinic provides patients with splints, prosthetics and various other types of orthotics for both lower and upper extremities in order to ambulate and/or perform activities of daily living.
Neuro/ Orthopedic Rehabilitation
Includes joint replacements, post-surgical traumatic fractures, osteoarthritis, and osteoporosis. Neurological diagnoses includes; Parkinson, multiple sclerosis, stroke, diabetic neuropathy illnesses.
